“Why can’t I meet anyone decent?”, “All of the good men are taken!”, “I’ve been on the dating site for two weeks now, and not a decent match!”
Do any of these sound familiar? Could it be that you’re thinking or saying these things?
If so, I have something to tell you, which might make you feel a little better….or worse, depending on your mindset!
Here’s the thing… not every man you meet is going to be your perfect match. In fact, most men you meet will NOT be your match. Either you won’t like them, or they won’t like you, but bottom line is you’re not for each other, and that’s ok.
Ok, so now that you know that most men aren’t your match, what’s the problem? Of COURSE it’s likely that most men you meet won’t seem “decent” to you. Of COURSE it will seem there are no good men out there, because only a small percentage of them will be what you consider “good”. Of COURSE it will be hard to get a decent match with a man, given most of the men out there are NOT for you!
So why aren’t you just enjoying the ride, getting to know new people, and practising your dating skills and working on yourself, so that when the right man DOES finally come along, you will be ready for him and you will be your very best self!
Some women need to date 100’s of men before they find “the one”. Some are lucky and find him sooner.
If you’ve not met yours yet, it’s because you’re not ready yet to meet him, or he’s not ready to meet you. Either way, the Universe will know and when the stars align, you won’t know what hits you!
The key is to stay positive at all times. Treat dating like a training ground, not a hunting ground. Live with an abundance mentality. Go forth with a goal to enjoy your date – not to find “the one”. That only puts pressure on you (and subconsciously onto him), which can only lead to disaster.
So get out there, enjoy being you, enjoy being single, enjoy dating, focus only on the good, and trust that Mr Right IS out there somewhere, but he’s a rare find, and you need to be ready for him! <3
