Several years ago my Dad gave us dozens of jars of preserved chillies, which we happily converted into several jars of chilli relish, using my Dad’s delicious chilli relish recipe.
It took us years to use up all of the jars of relish, despite the fact that we’d also given many away.
When we finally ran out last year, it was a very sad day indeed, as we had no more chillies to make into relish!
On a couple of occasions since then, I’ve mentioned to my husband that we should probably start to grow our own, but the wildlife around our house would likely eat them all! So we’ve been chilli relish free for some time now.
Each time I thought of the relish and how it would be nice to have some chillies to make into more, it was without attachment – it was purely thought of as a “nice to have”, because the flavour is delicious!
This afternoon my husband and I were relaxing when a lady posted the following:
Is there anyone in the local community that would like some red chillies? Our bushes are producing too many for us. There are 37 chillies of various sizes, free to anyone who wants the lot or some. PM me
Ok, this was just too good to pass up, so I immediately commented, offering our services to relieve them of their oversupply of chillies. It turns out they had more than 37 chillies, and they even had bags of frozen chillies, which they kindly handed over. AND they also handed us a jar of chilli relish! HEAVEN!!!
So I guess you’re now wondering why I am so excited, right? Well, I asked for these chillies several months ago, then I let it go. Today I not only received the chillies, but I received more than expected, plus a jar of relish too!
This is how manifestation works. You put your request out to the Universe, it is created, then when you’re ready to allow it in, things happen to make that happen, as it did today.
It didn’t happen fast but it happened, and although it’s hard to let go on the timing thing and to not want it sooner, what you want will manifest, once you allow it in!
Now what’s not to love about that?!
