I never realised how powerful gratitude was, until I made a decision to consciously embrace it, giving thanks every day for the wonderful things in my life – even when life wasn’t going so well.
What you focus on grows, so of course the stuff I therefore want to focus on is the good stuff, right? And the more you do of this – the focusing on the good stuff – the more of this good stuff you will attract.
Of course you’re only human and yes, life sometimes gets in the way and you forget to practise gratitude, and things are going wrong, and you find yourself in the midst of your very own pity party. It happens! But it doesn’t have to stay that way!
So let’s start off today by sharing what you are grateful for – what wonderful things do you currently have in your life? It could be something as small as the little butterfly that just flew past your window, or the food you have on the table, or something huge, like the new car you just bought!
It doesn’t matter how big or small the things you feel gratitude for – all the Universe knows is that you’re feeling gratitude, and it’s in the process of delivering more of the good stuff for you to feel grateful for!
