I am absolutely in LOVE with Abraham-Hicks right now, and I just cannot get enough of listening to the words of wisdom being shared with the world. It is a truly wonderful thing!
Today I’ve been receiving little impulses from my guides, directing me to write this post about the awesome 17 second exercise Abraham-Hicks talks about, because this exercise will seriously change your life!
This exercise is about focused thought, and as I keep saying, you attract what you think about, so it’s important your thoughts are focused on what you do want, as opposed to what you don’t want.
What Abraham-Hicks says is that if you can focus pure thoughts on something you do want for 68 seconds, you’re pretty much guaranteeing that you will manifest this.
However there’s a catch…
I don’t know about you, but I know I cannot possibly focus 100% of pure thought on anything for 10 seconds most of the time, let alone for 68 seconds! So this 17 second exercise is about stretching yourself a little, and gradually building it up from there.
Here’s how it works:
- Find somewhere quiet where you won’t be interrupted
- Choose a topic you would like to focus on
- Attempt to focus pure, positive thought on this topic for 17 seconds
- If you veer off (as most people do at first), let the other thought go, and try again
- Once you’re consistently able to focus for 17 seconds of pure thought, increase this to 34 seconds
- Once you have mastered the 34 second exercise, increase this to 51 seconds
- Once you have mastered the 51 second exercise, increase this to 68 seconds
This may seem easy, but in reality it can be difficult to summon up that pure focus on what you want, however with practise, you will be able to do this.
There’s another aspect to this exercise which I will talk about in my next update – this one is also a life-changer!
