It’s normal to feel down occasionally, and as long as you don’t allow these feelings to engulf you, you’ll be ok! These feelings never feel good, but it’s easy to get caught up in them and allow them to spiral, so today I will talk about shifting yourself out of this “down” state.
First thing you need to do is to take a step back and to acknowledge how you’re feeling. You may know why you’re feeling this way, or you may not, but it doesn’t matter. By taking a step back, you’re simply looking at your feelings from an observer’s point of view.
The next thing to do is forgive yourself for allowing these feelings to come into your consciousness. We tend to beat ourselves up when we really don’t deserve it. It’s completely natural for negative thoughts or feelings to come into our consciousness, and that’s ok as long as you don’t let it take over you!
Finally, make a choice to focus on a different thought or feeling. If you’re feeling stressed, replace that stress with hope. Shift your focus to what you actually want – not on what you don’t want. If your stress relates to money, shift your focus to how it would feel to have all of your bills paid.
The more you focus on what you do want, the higher you will vibrate, and the more of what you want that you will attract.
