It’s really easy to have a wonderful day – all you have to do is make the decision to do so! Yes, it’s really that easy!
If you’re not in a great mood right now, I’m guessing you’re not feeling very open to “choosing” to feel happy, and yes I get it. Sometimes we just need to feel what we’re feeling so we can process it before we move on.
Processing your feelings as they happen isn’t a bad thing – in fact, it’s healthy. Sometimes however, some people get so bogged down in the negative stuff that they forget to come up for air, and before you know it, they’re stuck in their miserable, negative rut, without a clue on how to get out.
I have found that surrounding myself with uplifting, positive influences is an amazing way to get out of a funk. Watch something funny or inspiring on YouTube or on TV, listen to uplifting music, surround yourself with people you feel good around.
We are so lucky in this age where anything we wish to watch, read or hear, is only a few clicks of a mouse button, or a few taps on the screen of your phone away. So get yourself out there and find something that makes you feel good, and watch the fog as it begins to lift so the sun can finally shine!
