Happy new year everybody! As I type this, it’s almost 9am on the 1st of January, 2020 here where I live, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Australia. I have to say, it’s going to be a wonderful day and an even more wonderful year! Woohoo!
The reason I know this year is going to be so wonderful is because I’ve made the decision for it to be so.
I am currently sitting out on my back deck, listening to this little guy talking to his family in the distance and feeling extremely grateful for everything that I have. Click to hear him sing!
So, back to my list… here’s a snippet:
- I am married to the sweetest and most wonderful man in the whole entire world (sorry ladies – he’s taken!)
- We live in a beautiful home on acreage, where we are surrounded by native wildlife including birds, koalas, wallabies and even the occasional goanna or python!
- We have food on the table and a roof over our heads (obviously!)
- I have a good, reliable and awesome car, which gets me around effortlessly
- Our family is happy and healthy
- We have fun together – laughter is a daily event in our home!
- We have more than enough money to live on
- I am growing and learning every single day and the speed of my spiritual growth is astounding me in a wonderful way!
- Life just feels wonderful!
If you choose to focus on your gratitude for what you have, you will continue to attract more to be grateful for into your life. On the other hand, if you choose to focus on what you don’t want, or on the absence of what you want, you will attract more of the same.
To make 2020 one of the best years you’ve ever had, you need to make a conscious decision to make it so! From there, you need to make sure that if your thoughts veer off track, don’t beat yourself up – just shift them back to what you do want.
