If you want to attract abundance and prosperity – or anything at all that you desire – you absolutely need to express gratitude for what you already have. If you’re expressing gratitude for what you already have, it’s like placing an order with the “Universal Warehouse”, asking for more things to be grateful for!
On the other hand, if you show a lack of gratitude, or you show no gratitude at all, it’s placing a different type of order… instead you’re asking for more things to not feel grateful for!
I’m guessing that if you’ve read this far, you’ve worked out that gratitude is a good thing, right? So what’s the best way to go about this gratitude thing?
The first and most powerful gratitude practice is to use a gratitude journal.
So here’s how to get started:
- Go and buy yourself a journal with lined pages. Make sure this journal feels good to you.
- Every single morning, without fail, write down at least 5 things you are grateful for. I write 10, but 5 is a great start! You don’t have to write about anything profound – even the things we take for granted, such as the beauty of the sunset, or a field of grass will do! Or if you had a bad day yesterday, you could express the gratitude that yesterday is over!
- As you are writing, feel the gratitude for the thing you are writing about. Really feel this gratitude and let it wash over you!
- Once you are finished writing, read back through every item in your list, one at a time, and say “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” while feeling grateful, as you read.
- Repeat this process every day!
By expressing your gratitude each morning, you’re starting your day on the most positive note possible, and you’re setting the scene for the rest of your day! Yay!
